Software Developer / Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a mid or senior level software developer / engineer who enjoys programming. The position is in-person for our Sur location. Job responsibilities will include writing software, quality assurance, and communicating with clients. Experience writing software is required, but personal projects, open source commits, and training may qualify.

Qualifications

• Experience writing real-world software. Ideally 2+ years of programming (personal projects, open source commits, and training may qualify).
• Good reading / writing in English. Candidates must be able to read and understand English language documentation and technical programming vocabulary. Good spoken English is a plus.
• Self motivated and willing to work full-time hours
• Experience in one of the following languages: Javascript, Typescript, PHP, C#, or Rust
• Willingness to perform many different tasks. We are a small company and all employees have to fill multiple roles.
• Someone local to the Sharqiyah area is preferred.
• Willingness to occasionally work late hours or weekends in the case of urgent client issues.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Knowledge of industry standard tools and practices (git, CI/CD, containers, etc)

• Employees will work on a team of experienced software developers (some local, some remote) and receive mentoring by a senior developer.
• Pay will be negotiated based on experience and work hours but will be between 325 and 400 OMR / month.
